I'm so EXCITED! I found out that one of my parties was going to be featured in this months issue of Long Island Parent Magazine. Our party was featured as the "Best Kids Birthday Party"! It was a celebration of both my girls birthday party together. The theme was "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" (cupcake party of course). It's a honor for me to be a small part of this wonderful and resourceful magazine. Check it out! While your at it stop by their blog From One Parent To Another. The centerpieces consisted of Black Gerbera Daises in tall vases filled with crystals. Along with framed photos of the girls (together) through out the year in hot pink frames.
The favors were little tanks and shorts packaged as cupcakes, ice cream, and lolly pops from their favorite store "Libby Lu" (got them on final sale before they closed down).
We had a Old Fashioned-Soda Bar
We had a Candy/ Dessert Bar
The party was complete with cupcakes, crafts, popcorn chicken (in popcorn boxes), pink lemonade, and a popcorn machine. At the end of the party the girls gave out packaged sugar cookies (princess wands and high heels) with cupcake thank you tags.
