East Coasters who want to hit the beach should take advantage of Jet Blue's expanded service to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. The airline added additional flights from NYC's JFK and Boston's Logan airports to the Caribbean Island.

Fair warning: The Dominican Republic is known for its all-inclusive resorts, which can attract a lot of families. What you trade in quiet pool time, you'll find some stellar hotel deals.
