There's nothing of much interest happening in the Stevenson world lately, aside from my rapidly expanding waistline. So rather than blabbering about that yet again, let's look at puppies, shall we?
Teddy is limping. It could be any number of things -- salt from the sidewalk, a slightly clipped quick. We're soaking his paw in warm water and keeping a close eye, but judging by his crazed bounding around, I think the patient will pull through. Here is my problem child...
Always up to something (but we love him anyway)
Bailey, as usual, is causing no trouble at all. As long as she can be rightnexttoyouatalltimes, all is right in her world. She's still haughty and mournful and gorgeous, all at once.
"The indignity is too much to bear." [Henri, Le Chat Noir]
Together, they make quite the little pack in our household...
They're going to make the best big brother/sister pair pretty soon.
If you'd like a book that will make you weep (and who doesn't want more of that in their lives?), go read "Marley and Me." Seriously, I know you all think I'm a crazy dog lady, but just do it.
"Such short little lives our pets have to spend with us, and they spend most of it waiting for us to come home each day. It is amazing how much love and laughter they bring into our lives and even how much closer we become with each other because of them."
